Membership
Membership of OLS is open to anyone interested in live action roleplaying who is over the age of 18 who has paid the relevant fee. While OLS does not run for profit, running LARP events incurs certain financial costs (such as kit maintenance and insurance), which our membership fees are designed to meet.
OLS members can take full advantage of everything the society has to offer. For full details, see our Membership Policy.
Various types of membership are available:
Monthly Membership – £9 – membership is granted for one month
Quarterly Membership – £25 – membership is granted for three months
Annual Membership – £100 – membership is granted for one year
Affiliate Membership – free! – membership is granted to any member of an Affiliated Society for the duration of their membership of that society
Trial Membership – free! – membership is granted to any new attendee of OLS events for their first three events (not including meetings)
OLS does not want cost to be a limiting factor to participation in LARP, and concessions of up to 100% are available on a case-by-case basis – please speak to the Committee.

Mailing List
Join the OLS mailing list to stay up to date on everything the society is up to! All society events will be advertised here. You do not need to be a society member to join the mailing list.
To join the mailing list, send a blank email to list-join@oxfordlarp.com from the address you wish to register with. You will receive a confirmation email – please follow its instructions to confirm your registration. (This might go to your spam! Please check.)
To leave the mailing list, send a blank email to list-leave@oxfordlarp.com from the address you registered with. This will likewise require you to respond to a confirmation email.
To send an email to the mailing list, send it to list@oxfordlarp.com. Only email addresses registered to the mailing list can send emails to it.
Although anyone registered to the mailing list can send messages to it, in general this list is intended for announcements only. The Discord server (see below) is for general discussion.

Discord Server
The OLS Discord server is the place for general discussion of all things relating to OLS and LARP, as well as a general online social space for the society. Announcements of society events will also be posted here (as well as to the mailing list, above), and it is the venue for society general meetings.
